How can we help?

Showrunner works with Whatnot and is in public beta, free while it is. The fastest way to reach us is from inside the extension: click ? on the Showrunner card during a show to report a bug, request a feature or send feedback. It includes your printer settings and recent sales (if you leave that box ticked), which helps us fix things quickly.

Getting started

  1. Install DYMO Connect for Desktop (Windows) from dymo.com and plug in your LabelWriter by USB. On a Mac, use the Showrunner Print Bridge instead.
  2. Add the Showrunner extension to Chrome.
  3. Open your show from Seller Hub › Shows › Open show. The Showrunner card appears at the top of your product list.
  4. Click ⚙ on the card: pick your printer and label, click Print test label, choose what goes on the label, turn on Auto-print, and click Save.

Common questions

I don't see the Showrunner card.

It only appears on your own show's seller dashboard (Seller Hub › Shows › Open show), not on the viewer's page or the home page. If you just installed or updated the extension, refresh the show tab.

A label didn't print.

The card says why in red. Usually the printer is off or out of labels, or the DYMO service isn't running (restart the PC). Open ⚙ and click Print test label to check the printer on its own. Any sale in the card's history can be reprinted with its printer icon.

Which printers and labels work?

DYMO LabelWriter 450 and 550 by USB. Any DYMO die-cut label: 1 × 1 in (30332) and 3½ × 1⅛ in address labels (30252) are popular. The label preview in ⚙ shows how yours will look.

What's on the label?

By default the item number from your title (the "#94" in "Mel #94") in large type, then the price. You can add the buyer, the full title, the date and time, and a seller line. A small "showrunner.tools" bar runs along the bottom during the beta.

Does Showrunner do anything on my account?

No. It only reads your own seller page. It never clicks, bids, posts or messages anyone for you.

How much does it cost?

Free during the public beta. After the beta: $10 a month or $100 a year, with a 7-day free trial and no credit card needed.
